The ACFC-D gas ultrasonic flowmeter is suitable for raw gas gathering and transportation measurement, pipeline custody transfer, and process gas measurement in metallurgy, petrochemical and refining industries. It has high measurement accuracy & repeatability, wide turndown ratio, and great adaptability to different working conditions. The operating condition flow can be connected to a flow computer to form a metering system, or using the built-in converted standard condition flow for DCS. It provides performance and cost-effective metering solutions for users.

1. Multi-path design with a cross-bore acoustic path layout
Capable of supporting up to eight acoustic paths, it utilizes algorithms for flow profile recognition to manage complex flow conditions. The cross-bore configuration minimizes sensitivity to wall buildup, ensuring robust performance in fouling environments.
2. Proprietary Titanium Alloy Transducer
Featuring a fully metal-encapsulated, compact design, the transducer provides high pressure tolerance , and a wide operating temperature range, featuring wear and corrosion resistance, with extended maintenance intervals. The high-energy design enables both atmospheric pressure measurement and vacuum calibration.
3. Built-in pressure and temperature sensors
The measurements from the ACD14 high-precision digital pressure and temperature sensors are used for Reynolds number calculation, dynamic geometric dimension correction of the meter body, and standard reference volume correction. The pressure sensor, maintaining an accuracy better than 0.1% across -40 to +70 °C, guarantees the high precision in both flow measurement and volume correction.
4. SMART diagnostic algorithm
The system features integrated advanced diagnostic algorithms covering AGC, SNR, signal quality, flow regime, speed of sound, and flow rate; this ensures real-time monitoring and warning capabilities for operation status and measurement accuracy.
5. Large-capacity storage with complete data recording
The built-in large-capacity storage captures and stores the flow meter's operational parameters, event logs, alarm histories, and self-diagnostic records, ensuring complete and reliable data traceability for users.
6. ACFC Explorer PC software
Comes with ACFC Explorer PC software, providing graphical flowmeter configuration and online/offline diagnostic functions.

Pressure is tapped directly from the meter body. Temperature is measured downstream, with the sensing point placed between 2D and 5D pipe diameters from the meter outlet.

Or it is recommended to install a flow conditioner upstream of the meter. This stabilizes the flow profile in the pipe, thus enhancing the accuracy of the measurement.
