Electromagnetic flowmeters are used to measure the volumetric flow of conductive liquids and slurries in closed pipelines. They are suitable for industries such as chemical, electric power, metallurgical, petroleum, water supply and drainage, paper, pharmaceutical, and food. The fluid being measured must be a conductive liquid or slurry. When its conductivity is less than 20 μS/cm, a double-core double-shielded cable with equipotential shielding or a high-frequency Transmitter can be used. The measured fluid should not contain a large amount of ferromagnetic material or bubbles. The appropriate pressure rating, lining material, electrode material, and instrument structure should be selected according to the characteristics of the fluid being measured.
Measurement is not affected by changes in fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, or electrical conductivity.
The measuring tube has no flow obstructive components and no pressure loss, with short straight pipe run requirements.
The series has nominal diameters ranging from DN6 to DN3000, with a variety of options for sensor linings and electrode materials
