The radar level gauge adopts FMCW frequency modulation technology to measure the distance and velocity of the target by changing the frequency of the transmitted signal. The radar emits a continuous wave signal with a frequency that varies over time. When this signal encounters a target object, it produces a reflected wave. The radar receives this reflected wave and calculates the distance to the target based on the time difference between the transmitted and received signals.
